Whatcom County Ferry officials announced today that they have resumed processing credit card payments on the Whatcom Chief.

The Whatcom County Ferry officials announced this morning they are temporarily unable to accept credit cards as payment for passage between Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point on the Whatcom Chief.
Pre-paid multi-ride punch cards, cash and checks continue to be options for onboard payments in the meantime.
The problem was blamed on technical difficulties. No estimate was given for when they expected to resume processing credit card payments.
