A Personal Plea

From the publisher:

This year you should pack those fireworks back in their boxes and hold off until New Years, especially if you don’t want to see them banned next year.In a normal year, there are numerous fireworks-related incidents but this year is exceedingly prime for many more to occur.

If you want to see fireworks banned, this is the year to get out there and prove the proponents’ case for them. It is not a question of if but how many fires will be caused by fireworks (including legal fireworks). The more problems you create this year, the more likely fireworks will be banned next year. It is that simple.

Let common sense prevail. Otherwise, this may be the last year fireworks will be allowed at all.
