The weather fronts 
keep rolling through and with them forecasts of wind and rain. To that end, the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning today, Sunday, December 6th.
According to the NWS alert Ferndale can expect,
local winds of 30 to 45 mph and gusts to 60 mph late this afternoon and evening.
southerly winds will probably peak between 6 PM and midnight.
A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring.
